Promotes Healing

Sterile saline aids in promoting healthy cells, tissues, and skin around the piercing . It prevents the spread of viruses, germs, bacteria, and other pathogens that could infect the piercing.

Convenient and Easy to Use

This Piercing Aftercare bottle comes in a pressurized can with a fine mist tip suitable for piercings on any/all external body parts.

Effective Cleansing

Sterile saline wound wash is clinically proven to remove bacteria and debris painlessly from piercings . The high-pressure spray flushes out dirt, foreign material, and piercing debris. For best results apply it twice a day in the initial months.

 Gentle and Soothing

Neilmed Wound Wash is a gentle, non-antibiotic solution that feels refreshing on healing piercings. It is isotonic, meaning you cannot have an adverse reaction to it.

Q-tips

In addition to the use of Q-tips aka Ear-buds/cotton swabs) is recommended, especially when you have a nostril piercing where reaching one side may be difficult.

What to Avoid ?

We do not suggest contact lens cleaning solutions or other home made compositions, as the precise sodium content per mililiter of water is often imbalanced in such DIY solutions. Avoid using these DIY solutions stored in cheap (PETE Polyester) plastic spray bottles which gradually alters the original composition causing further dryness/damage.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FRESH PIERCINGS DONE AT @KYRA

The importance of not touching or playing with your fresh piercings cannot be overstated. Always wash your hands before touching a fresh piercing.

Saline Rinse

Without turning the jewelry, gently clean any lymph (crusties) using a clean Q-tip and sterile saline without turning or twisting the jewelry. Do this a 2 times a day, at anytime the jewelry feels “sticky” or uncomfortable until your piercing is healed. Avoid Overcare Cleaning your piercing frequently (5+ times a day) can cause irritation as well. Do be careful that no pieces of cotton from the Q-tip get stuck to your piercing or your jewelry. If you see any cotton on your jewelry, carefully remove it.

Cold compresses

Doing a cold compress for the first week can help reduce the amount of swelling some of you may experience. Take a cold pack (similar to the type you would get for sore muscles from any pharmacy or grocery store) and gently place it over the piercing without pushing too hard.
