At KYRA ear piercings on the earlobe area are offered FREE, with the purchase of specially designed piercing ear studs from our Inverness collection. Prices for the ear studs may vary as per the design or metal you choose. Prices for a single ear stud start as low as 165 Aed and 265aed for a pair. Ear piercings done using a sterile disposable needle can range from Aed 100 to 250 Aed for each service depending on the precise location. The cost of jewellery you select again, may vary in prices ranging from 99 aed aed to 1500 aed or higher incase of natural diamonds set in gold.

With plenty of hygenic and safe styles to choose from @KYRA, piercing may be done in any of the three metal categories offered. Avoid styles with large elevated stones, these are usually best suited for adults and teens. Also avoid styles with any jagged edges and sharp corners. Most customers at KYRA have described our piercing technique like a slight “prick or pinch." We DO 'NOT' use the gunshot method; hence, there is no trigger or a spring that recoils and snaps piercing the earstud with a rapid force. This causes acute pain, which may also end up in a swelling. While at KYRA, with the hand pressured technique used for over 20 years, the sensation is drastically reduced as compared to the gun-shots. The Inverness Piercing System is very gentle on the ear and is SAFE, STERILE, and HYPO-ALLERGENIC. Unlike the piercing gun, there is no trigger on the instrument, it works on a gentle push mechanism, giving complete control to the trained piercer. These earrings are Hypoallergenic and fully encapsulated in individual cartridges. Incase of needle piercings the jewelry will need to be exammined by the store manager to meet the hygine and healing needs.

 No. Not very often, especially while its healing in the initial weeks. You don't want to agrevate a healing wound.  

 It's best to avoid swimming in pools, lakes, and hot tubs while your ears are healing becausethey can have germs. But if you really have to, and you do go swimming, rinse your ears with a sterile saline wouund wash from KYRA, after the swim  

 It's best to wait for a minimum of 3 months, and examine the ear lobe closely if it looks healed, before changing to the new ones. It is crucial for bodies natural healing cycle to complete, before trying out any new pair or a new metal type. Avoid fashion accessories that are Nickel plated or contain nickel.

Firstly, it is important to establish that at KYRA we DO NOT recommend or offer Gunshot piercings. We offer piercings using sterile single-use needles that are disposable or the Hand-pressured system, ie: SAFE, GENTLE and STERILE. Now addressing the question of Gun-Shot vs Needle Piercing? Well it depends on the part of ear or body being pierced. If we are talking about earlobes only Hand-pressured instruments are significantly better than the Gun-Shot piercing technique, as it is very gentle and there i no spring-loaded force that is used. However, Needle piercing is significantly better than Gun-Shot piercing for several reasons: Less trauma to skin and tissue Precise control over piercing placement Lower risk of infection and nerve damage Smaller hole created for jewelry Faster recovery and healing time

KYRA has been piercing the UAE for over 20years and most customers at KYRA have described our piercing technique like a slight “prick or pinch." Therefore, with the hand pressured technique used, the sensation is drastically reduced as compared to the metal guns. The Inverness Piercing System is SAFE, STERILE, and HYPO-ALLERGENIC. There is no trigger on the instrument, it works on a push mechanism, giving complete control to the piercer. And by the way, we do apply a numbing cream/spray (topical anesthetic) as an added comforting precaution prior to piercing.

Not unless they are purchased/gifted previously from KYRA. Only the sterile encapsulated ear studs will fit if you have chosen the piercing instrument at KYRA. These earrings are Hypoallergenic and fully encapsulated in individual cartridges. For needle piercing, the jewellery choices are implant grade titanium and/or solid gold 14 or 18K that is nickel free and specially designed for healing.

Just take the earrings out (or have it removed at KYRA) and keep the area clean, The (piercing) or the hole will usually close up with just a small faint mark, depending on how long you wore them for. If the piercing jewellery was just worn for a couple of weeks, its likey you won't even see any marks as it heals up.
